Joel Engardio introduces end-of-life care topic for the Harvard Law School negotiation workshop as an example of handling a difficult conversation. http:///www.engardio.com
Thanks you for this! I am a critical care RN in a large teaching/research hospital in Toronto. I face these issues everyday. It is SO important to talk about these issues, regardless of the difficulty in doing so (it's ok to be sad!). End of life care, palliative care, and patient-focused care are such delicate topics, it's crucial to demystify it. People can have a good death. (ps- I'm truly very sorry for your loss).
