The Canadian EAS doesn't have warnings or language in french.

this is nothing but a waste of money. I am a Mexican and I speak and understand English so well I do not need anybody to tranlate weather alerts in Spanish. just because you are foreign that does not mean you have to force Americans to speak and understand foreign language. we do not need to spend more time and money in foreign language translation.

There are three NOAA stations broadcast in Spanish: San Diego and El Paso have separate stations for Spanish NOAA broadcasts. Albuquerque's station repeats the English broadcast in Spanish.

How about we require them to learn English and stop spending money on people to lazy to learn English. I for one do not want my tax dollars spent on spanish or the people that speak it. Get with the program and learn English.

It was true according to the NWS when this story was done in 2006. I certainly hope additional spanish language stations have come and continue to come on line.
