Very interesting but my cat doesn't drink this way. She doesn't make the backwards J shape with her tongue. She has to lean all the way across her bowl and lap against the far side. In doing this she splashes a lot of liquid and creates a huge puddle. I guess she missed that day in Kitty Elementary School.....

i dont get why dogs and cats and all animals dont suck in, people say cause they dont have lips but dont other mammals suck in water? i remember watchin a show and saw a polar bear suckin the water up just put his whole snout in the water
