It's a beautiful song, but it doesn't reflect my dad at all, my father was a Strong man, but gentle and kind with us, i heard i love you from him and my mum all the time and that it's probably why i miss him so much, because he was the best father in the world and he loved his family until the end, i wish he was still here it's not easy to think the i will never hear those words from him again or see his face or touch him, it is so sad with out him here!!! I'll miss u forever My beutiful daddy!!

I was adopted and never got to meet my birth father. He died in 2001 two weeks before my 1st child was born. I always thought I would have time to meet him and kept putting it off because I was scared. Never wait for tomorrow what you can do today...you never know when tomorrow will never come. I never got to be a "Daddy's girl" never to tell him I love him or hear him say it to me. Like the song says: "He never said he loved me, guess he thought I knew"
