What are the chakras? A chakra is an energy center which receives, transmits and transforms universal energy or chi. Most people concentrate on the seven main chakras. The seven chakras are located in a line from the head to the torso of the body with the root of each chakra seated along the spinal column. Chakra draws in universal energy in all aspects, mental, emotional, physical
and spiritual. If a chakra becomes blocked through emotional upset, trauma, fear, conflict, loss or anxiety the energy field becomes unbalanced. When this happens the chakra becomes blocked it no longer receives the energy it needs to feed the body. This will cause physical illness and emotional imbalance. By balancing the Chakra during an Energy Healing we clear and restore natural balance and allowing the universal energy to flow freely.
