Bravo! Very interestingly different... a departure and an arrival... aside the particular voice Sting puts into Purcell, something many clasical singers don't ... a tempo real slow and painful... which is what freezing to death is likely like. So ok Sting old boy... you got the production money... let's have the whole opera! And yes, of course as a pop star... it is a hard act to follow KNomi... indeed any singer barring Callus... fortunately Sting didn't try... very original!

oups...que dire? euh...... ben, heureusement que c'est sting. un autre se serait fait lamentablement descendre pour ce genre de "performance"... c'est navrant.

I would say cold enough.

I won't recommend to anybody even to try to perform that music. Nobody can do it as good as Nomi..

Sorry Sting, I love ya, but No one can touch Klaus Nomi's rendition

@thisguisethisguise pretty sad indeed... I just found this one performance that is much closer to Purcell's work... Now THAT is a bass!!
For further reference if I may, Henry Purcell: King Arthur Act III: What Power Art Thou

@XDiaz2008 people believe that it is a piece of Klaus Nomi ... luckily someone says it is not so.
He sings it like a bear. No offense though, it brings something new to the song. Singing bears.
