Mitch Daniels: "OK Hoosiers, here's another new idea. We've balanced the budget, paid the state's debts, and we're restoring the 'rainy day' funds. How about when the surplus gets big enough to fully protect education and other vital programs. Anything beyond that gets automatically refunded to you, the taxpayer. After all it's your money. If it stays in the State House future politicians are sure to spend it. Better it stays in your pocket than burn a hole in their's."

Don't give any refunds to welfare recipients, and people on Section-8, since most of them didn't pay much of anything in taxes - anyways.

you cut teachers... raised the sales tax rate... property taxes are now more than when you took office.. you did alot to screw the taxpayers of Indiana.. I HOPE President  Obama takes that 1.2 billion surplus away from Indiana and pays it on the National Debt...

This video was repulsive to me. I do not want Governor Daniels' gratitude. I hate his guts. Indiana would be better off raising the state income tax to exactly 5 percent and raise the personal exemption to $10,344 for the good of the state. We want "Home Rule" Government NOW!! God Damned Him!!
