The finale.Jesse is one relaxed fella. His early work is easily purchased; why don't you take a look? May post a couple of others soon. Can't upload at home - thank you Comcast.

  • Smitten! The kid-like joie de vivre-AND all that talent! This is what all me heros have-they're funny, warm, laugh at themselves and draw you in like a real old friend-Thanks!

  • He gives the impression that he wrote this, but he didn't The original recording was by Clyde McPhatter and was the B side of his big hit, "LOVER'S QUESTION". Great song, you should hear it by Clyde, one of the best voices in early R&B.

  • Found a great version on iTunes: Live from Mountain Stage! This is my favorite, though. Thanks!

  • Thanks, emmylunatic -- Jesse is truly an American treasure...a great songwriter and a warm performer on stage.

  • I wish he was coming near me. He's an old favorite from the seventies and I've never seen him. I thought he was still holding up in Montreal.

  • Thanks again, emmylunatics!

Never get enough of this show...

  • Thank you again my friends. ANd thanks for sending Jesse back around tonight. Just what I needed! See you soon! ;)

  • I saw this same dance back in '86, when he was part of the Aztec Two Step anniversary concert, though he did it to another song. That show icluded Jesse, Aztec, Johnathon Edwards, Livingston Taylor and David Bromberg. What a great video that is. Jesse has been SO good for SO long, he just never stops amazing me with his talents. One of the most prolific singer/songwriters of our time. I thank you for this video, it's one I've never seen. The more Jesse, the better.
