Dan Neil has been wrong so many times and I think he's wrong here too. it's a too cynical view of Carlos Ghosn. calculating sure but I think he likes electric cars and I think he moved on it sooner than just business would have. as evidenced by the wicked reluctance of the other car makers.

I don't think he's doing it for the money as such, I think he's motivated by achievement and I think he saw the electric car as a way to move Renault Nissan ahead of everyone else.

I loved that scene in the film! And love hearing about a fellow Lebanese descendant who made it big from the most multicultural nation in the world, Brazil!

Watched this documentary at Plug-In 2001. This is a very good documentary that travels beyond skin deep into the cut throat auto industry. It touches on the flaws of leadership, exposes a house of cards, and gets personal with a guy that only his mother could love. Overall it is a must see, and just like "Who Killed the Electric Car" it is a must own as well.
