Well, if we would do it longer then 1 min, I would believe that the growth power in the seeds would diminish a lot...
We are getting from 1 kg alfalfaseeds, 12-15 kg alfasprouts...
and from 1 kg mungbeans, about 6-9 kg mungbeansprouts..depending wich day we choose to stop the growth..

To me it is a mystery how those heated seed can grow at all. Do you suggest that heat doesn't affect growth of seeds?

This process would kill the growth on garlic or root beet for example, so no, it does not work for ALL types of seeds however commercial sprout growers in Sweden use this process daily on alfalfa and mung bean with zero reduction in growth rate! Alfa and MB make up a large percentage of the sprout market. (Note that It's very important to rinse with cold water directly as the video shows.) There is documented scientific research on this method to reduce bacteria w/o affecting growth rate.
