Paramore Update: Hayley Williams & Farro Brothers Talk Split

It's been a tough week for die-hard Paramore fans. So what does the future hold for the band? We're giving you the details up next.

You're back at ClevverTV. Hello music lovers. I'm Joslyn Davis with latest news on Paramore. Just a few days ago the band announced that two of its founding members (who are also brothers by the way), Zac and Josh Farro, would be saying good by to the group. Hayley Williams and the other two remaining members broke the news on their site.

Paramore has been a group for about 6 years, but Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor revealed that a few months ago Josh and Zac let them know that after their recent show in Orlando, they would be leaving the group. While this might come as surprise to some of you out there, Paramore was not all that shocked. In fact, the remaining members wrote on their site that "for the last year it hasn't seemed as if [Josh and Zac] wanted to be around anymore." Either way, they all want the guys to be happy and Paramore is still very much alive and kicking.

The group is excited about its next chapter, which will include kicking off 2011 with a tour in South America. All of their dates are still happening, although we're not sure if they will be adding new members to the group yet, or at all in the future. They'll likely have to get some people to at the very least fill in for their upcoming dates, but as to whether or not they'll be official members will have to wait to be seen. Then later in 2011, the group will take time off and write a new record. And if Hayley and co do it their way, they'll write at home, which is where they can really focus when they have time off.

Following the official announcement and an outpouring of encouragement from fans, Hayley also hit twitter to show some love, but she showed some honestly adding that "Today is not going to go down as one of my favorite days. Just being real."

As for Josh and Zac, well Altpress.com is reporting that Josh will be performing now as a part of a new group called Tunnels with musician Jason Clark. THey already have a song out there called "Hide Your Eyes."

Josh and Zac released a statement via their own blog which outlines why they left the group - the blog entry, which you can check out over at Altpress.com outlines the ins and outs of their on-going issues with Hayley and why they're choosing to go their own way. The brothers insist that their statement "was not to betlittle or disgrace the rest of the band, it was simply to clarify [their] deciion for leaving and[their] decision to finally tell [their fans] the truth.

I love Paramore more than any other band, and I'll miss Zac and Josh a hell of a lot, but hey!- we still have Jerm, Hayles and Tay so let's us Parawhores stay positive! Paramore is (still) a band. <3

Its not like the band is gonna fall apart just because josh and zac left. We still have Jeremey, Taylor and Hayley. I never really liked Josh anyway because he was always making fun of Hayley in thier videos. I just think that Josh was jelous that Hayley gets the most attention. Of course shes gonna get more attention after all she is the lead singer. What Josh needed to know was that thier fans (us) loved all of them equally. Josh seriously needs to grow up and except the facts.

@hardcoreGamerGurl actually, jeremy left the band not too long before all we know is falling came out and taylor didn't join till later because he wanted to finish high school. but obviously, jeremy came back because he was delivering pizzas for a living or something :P but anyways, just wanted to clear that up...

Notice how the blog says "hayleys manger" nd "hayleys father" the label kicked out jerky and Taylor. Josh even said at one point hayley brought back jermey.(doesn't sound like hayley is such a bad girl does it?) Hayley was young a naive! She probably didn't understand half the crap that was going on -.-' in my eyes I just see this as greedy bastards trying to control a taltened hayley Williams

EVERYONE just has to hate them when they literally didnt do anything wrong.. if that whole situtation happened to me if i was in a band i would just leave because thats not fair at all!! but they were really young at the time and they didn't really know how to handle the situation not that im saying they are stupid or inmature they were very mature, but what hayleys dad did to them wasn't fair or in my opinion smart at all :/
