Lately, it seems like some of us have been confusing Jesus with Santa. After all, they both have beards and several nicknames, and often, we get caught up hoping that they both bring us everything we want. However, this season let us remember that one of them comes to give us what we think we want; the other came to give us what we need.

  • @emoasfxck Actually his birth was recorded by Christians and Non-Christians. It was an important part of history when he was crucified on the cross. So whether or you believe he was the son of God and did die on the cross for our sins is up to you. As far as him being, "imaginary" is not true. Its a fact he did exist.

  • If only I have seen this before Christmas, then I could have shared this to people.

  • possible and impossible St. Nick will be giving a gift to the people by way of "red shirts camouflage". he will be giving a gift in the manner and said, "Take this gift and pray on the day of the birth of Jesus"

  • Рождество Деда Мороза))) ржу. Хороший ролик

  • I'm not entirely sure what you're saying. Are you saying that I'm from Israel? Because even if I was (and I'm not), I fail to see how that pertains to the argument at hand. If you go to Wikipedia and look up Jesus, you will find that there is no historical evidence to support Jesus' birth in any particular month. Many biblical scholars believe he was actually born in autumn, not winter. PM me if you would like to know more, although I have a feeling you don't.

  • @SlightlyDrainBamaged yes he was just because your not a believer doesnt mean you have to give YOUR words were catholic and your from israel lol!

  • @SlightlyDrainBamaged Look at Jesus this way. Say Istole $10000 from you. You would be upset with me. You have 2 options either recoup your loss by getting even with me and taking the money back OR you could take the loss. God chose to take that loss of sin by passing the punishment of death to His son. If you were to take the loss, you are still out the money but you take it upon yourself to forgive the debts. God gave His son to die to take our sins because Christ IS God and He loves us.

  • @GingaHAGANEpegasus Jesus wasn't born on Christmas.

  • @xIpyreIx Just see the Wikipedia article for "Dating the Bible." And sorry, I should have clarified that I meant the New Testament.

  • @SlightlyDrainBamaged Wait, so the Torah wasn't written until AFTER Jesus died? The scrolls that were read to the assembled people and were studied in the temples for centuries before Christ was born had what on them, exactly? That makes no sense. Everybody has scholars so just saying referencing some arbitrary scholar really does nothing to prove anything.

  • @xIpyreIx Scholars have deduced the date of the first part of the Bible as having been written at about 57 CE at the earliest. Jesus died at 36 CE at the latest. So over twenty years passed before any records were placed on paper. In addition, the modern Bible is a conglomeration of many differing texts from different authors, copied by hand over a thousand years. I guarantee that there are differences from the actual historical events within the pages of the Bible.
