  • The result of this marriage between the controlling party and these special interests has lead to an uncontrolled growth in government and the unbeleivably sweet contracts that government employees enjoy. They always point to the elderly and the poor after they've lined their own pockets.

The result of continuing down this path will be more businesses hiring less people or leaving the state, which means they will have raise taxes again. It's an endless spiral.

  • So why is it that the liberals in WA always go for right for "the children and the elderly'? Jesus it makes me sick! If you cut state spending anywhere, they automatically play that card. "YOU MUST HATE KIDS AND THE ELDERLY IF YOU CUT SPENDING!" What idiots.

Here is an idea! In tough economic times, we all have to tighten our belts, that means less spending at LOCAL BUSINESSES etc and less revenue for the state on all levels. We have to cut back, why the hell don;'t you Mrs Gov?

  • It's so frustrating to hear the argument of the poor, the kids, and the elderly. Bob clearly said that the problem is the bureaucracy. The state workers suck up too much of the money and not enough of it gets to the people who need it.
