Brink's US One of the Nation's Top Military-Friendly Employers

Armored car company Brinks US has been named one of the nations top Military-Friendly employers for the sixth year in a row by GI Jobs Magazine. Nearly 2,500 companies were considered for the annual ranking, but only fifty made the list. The rankings are based on military recruiting efforts, Reserve and National Guard policies, percentage of new hires with prior military service, and veteran community involvement, training and promotional programs. "We seek members of the military for their skills, discipline, and confidence they bring to the company," said Brinks Greg Hanno, US Brinks, a division of global security services firm Brinks Incorporated, operates 2,300 armored vehicle and employs 8800 workers in the United States.

I worked for Brink's for over ten years. They are not friendly to anyone. I have listened to managers cussing employees out, yelling, they send drivers and messengers out on trucks with no air conditioning on the hottest days of summer and with no heat in winter. Employees are treated disrespectfully by managers and if you don't suck it up they will find a reason to fire you. I saw about ten employees fired with in a few months last year. I don't recommend them to anyone.

YOU CONSIDER BRINKS TO BE A FRIENDLY EMPLOYER? I don't think so, They betray their own employees, they don't care about their employees. During this economic downturn, Brinks use their ruthless idea to terminate their employees. Yea, instead of just laid off, Brinks find or use one stupid reason just to terminated their own employees. What they do are trying to cut down the labor and save money. A ruthless idea I learn when I employ with them.
