Providing you have watched the three videos on remote desktop and have become familiar with the basics I will now show you how to use it on a local area network. An example of this would be you have a router and multiple computers hooked up to it at your home or office and want to remote into one in another room so you dont have to walk back and forth

    No other solutions told me what to do if I was connecting on a LAN.

    I am using the Mac version of RDC to connect to my WinXP work machine in the loft.

  • Great Job UberShiznit! But just helping, getting the ip address from the computer downstairs if it's already "on", can grab it of the router in the sub tab "attached devices."

  • Thank you! This was just what I was looking for ^^ I have a PC down in the basement as well as upstairs. So I wanted to be able to connect to either PC no mather which one I was on. Your tutorial was great! Keep up the good work.

  • youre terrible man, I got the idea you even don't get it yourself.

    You could make a vid of 10minutes and explain everything there is on using the terminal services client and how to configure the WinXP machine to accept connections. I call this spamm you're doing
