Brigham Young's "The Cougar (Fight) Song" (or: "Rise and Shout, the Cougars are Out")

Fans for the Cougars of the Rockies, I hope you enjoy this one even though there is no chant here. I do note, YES if you are in BYU attending a game and are not confined to a wheelchair, you HAVE to stand while singing the chorus.

@Brubuck10 Wow just wow. Where do I start. The "Y" is for Brigham YOUNG University. So you are correct it is "Young" university - Brigham Young University. "Young and inexperienced" - People in the sports community are always trashing BYU because it's players are old grown men compared to every other university. Nearly every starter on the BYU football team is married, and a return missionary. It's not uncommon to have 25+ year olds on sports teams here. Learn before you post next time.

Why does Brigham Young use the Y as their logo?? Was Mr. Young more important than Mr. Brigham?? They should use all three letters on their helmets instead of just the Y. Using just the y is like saying it's Young University, which is quite fitting since all athletes there are young and inexperienced. Great song though.
