Bernard Lewis and Pat Robertson explain Islam

Princeton scholar and best-selling author Bernard Lewis is considered by many to be the foremost authority on Islam in the world. While he was in Jerusalem recently, Lewis gave an exclusive interview to CBN News Bureau Chief Chris Mitchell.

You make it sound as if a lot of Muslims condemn the "Allāhu Akbar" terrorism, linguafranca. In fact, while Muslims went bonkers in European streets over cartoons, they have never—NEVER—shown anything LIKE that much concern over the terrorism the terrorists are pleased to believe is backed by a billion and a half followers of the first Muslim terrorist. A Muslim recently pointed out a Detroit demonstration over the would-be airplane bomber. But IT seemed to have 150 marchers at most! Good grief!

@citizenOfNowhere777; Muhammad, the founder of Islam was exceptionally cruel bandit, and yet Muslims call him uswa hasana (model of conduct) and al-insan al-kamil (perfect man). Their Islamic duty to emulate Muhammad’s crimes is called Sunna. Muslim mobs attack kafirs (non-Muslims) every day. There is no historical precedent of a Muslim majority tolerating kafir minority, but there is plenty of evidence that Islam cannot be reformed and that our desperate efforts to appease it have failed.

@mizadorian No, Bernard Lewis is not a filthy Jew. he is a bit biased but for the most part, he did say that terrrorism has no base in Islam and talked about the heavy regulation of war in Islam stating that what Osama was doing has no support in that regulation.
