Satellite Amplifiers takes a closer look at some oddities and amusing musical equipment.

Here's a nice vintage Selmer TV6. It's from the blue & grey period. Early 1960s. The original speaker is blown (I do have it, but it is out, attempting to find an exact replacement.) Was doing some tests and needed a temporary speaker, so I used one out of an old Telefunken radio. The amp sounds awesome, very early Champ like, but a bit more British sounding. Single 12AX7, single EL84, and a single EZ81.

  • @yankee5456 Sorry. I don't have any info about that era of Selmer.

  • I purchased an amplifier today .... apparently it is made by the same company as this I heard it if from the late 1970's. its called a "futurama M-10 solid state combo" I don't really know much about it and was wondering if you could help me out ? there's a few pages on the internet about "vintage" amps but the only one I can find has the exact same model ?
