Back in December, I was in the middle of a terrible and severe depression. Someone I knew had committed suicide, I had recalled things from my past that were traumatic, I had a lot of guilt, and I felt I was falling out of love with my girlfriend, and many other things I won't get into. 2012 came in and I thought "This won't be any different." I listened to this song, and I stared at a single spot on my ceiling until 5AM. That was the first night in 3 weeks where I didn't cry myself to sleep.

I am not going to post some bullshit about anything made up. But after about a decade of listening to this i have come to one theory. This song is actually happy. I mean no news is good news right? i used to feel like shit when i was alone during the holidays. But i feel blessed to be alive another year. I mean many folks die @ 27 especially celebs. So i will no longer look at this song as my emo song. But my all is well song thank god for a new year. :)
