Make Me a Millionaire Episode 207 - Air Date 2/27/10

"Make Me a Millionaire," the California Lotterys TV game show, awarded 12 lucky contestants a total of $145,000 in cash and prizes on this weeks show.

This weeks big winner is Steven Shreeve of Castro Valley. Shreeve, who is retired, played an exciting game of California Cool. After working his total up to an impressive $80,000, he decided to press on and make a run at a whopping $160,000. Unfortunately he chose a false statement and had to settle for $40,000. I was going to go for broke, Shreeve said afterward. He plans to pay bills with some of his winnings.

Before Shreeve claimed his $40,000, Charles Barnes of Yuba City and Douglas Templin of Windsor started the show with big wins in the Lucky Penny game segment. Templin, who recently purchased a car, opted to take the cash equivalent so he could plan a nice vacation. Barnes also opted for the cash, but for a different reason Im going to use it to spoil my grandson, he said.

With the Make Me a Millionaire progressive jackpot increasing $200,000 each week, next weeks Millionaire game contestant will have a chance to win $1.2 million.
