  • Due to the tight winding on the motor, wouldn't it burn out quickly? Just curious. Also, why didn't you just go with a regular electric motor... :) Neat stuff.

  • @backyardsounds they probably last about 100 hours @ 12V. the flexplate makes the drivetrain cheap, simple, and reliable.

  • have you tried controlling the amps using a lm555 and varying the cycle duty form 0 % to 100% using sinewave dc pulse? i am seriously thinking about a starter motor and a 200ah 12v battery ^^
