i actually have the Bb version.. but it's much more difficult than the C version.. better for you to hold just the C version

comparing tomasi's trombone and trumpet concerto, i have to say, although the trumpet is more often known as a solo instrument the trombone sounds better used as a solo instrument! i might just say that because i am a trombonist myself but i think trumpets are pitched to high and too aggressive for a solo instrument...
Fantastic job man- you sound great!! I also play on an ML 239 bach- not nearly that well though!
Just curious- was the straight mute you're using also a Wick? Sounded like it, but couldn't tell for sure...

what key is that horn pitched in, it looks too small to be a C trumpet. I was thinking it might be a D trumpet

I know just the C trumpet version. Never seen a score for B flat trumpet.
