I chose woman trafficking because it feels to me that its a subject that has fallen out of the social agenda, prostitutes are stigmatized and that makes there freedom less viable.
800,000-900,000 women and children are trafficked and prostituted against their will worldwide each year. This is the story of one of them. Modern Slavery must be Stopped!!!

It is sad that SOME women are forced in to the sex trade. My heart goes out to the women in this video. Yet, I think other women want to be in the sex trade.

I was simply pointing out the error in your comment. Yes, prostitution is an old profession -doesn't mean it should still exist like it does, especially when people have the power to stop it. I don't know where the money for Haiti is. I know that people there are suffering and I don't know what they will do. We can help.

@cccashproductions I don't think you listened to the video. The beginning says that she begged her mother to leave with a nice man that she met so she could be a model. The mother probably shouldn't have let her go. But they were obviously impoverished.

@daddeo01905 I can't believe that 10 people "liked" this. The statistics for how many women and even men (or young boys and girls) is only accounted for how many they know about. No one "wants to be in the sex trade." They do it either out of pure desperation or because they have no idea what is going on. People like you really need to do a little more research about this topic before assuming that these victims are enjoying their captivity.
