  • Wuzup Travis,

Pretty good test, i know you shot this vid years ago, but could you share you scene settings or any settings some like this?

    danke!

Hi! I appreciate the fact that people are still watching this video.... DSLRs definitely defeat every 35 adapter. I have a 5d2 me too.

Btw, I don't exactly remember camera settings I was using, but it woud have been a very low master pedestal for sure... Blacks and shadows are crushed, and sharpening was low too; that groundglass was very noisy with thick details.

Gamma was cine-like, with cine like matrix.

    Thank you for watching!

  • Hi!nice footage.Would like to ask..would this video have the same film look without the adapter?not talking about DOF,just for the colour and fill..And do u think that dvx100b has a better film look than the dvx100be since the 100b has a 24 p mode.I just bought a 100be and i wonder if i should buy a100b.

  • Absolutely no. 100b and 100bE are basically the same camera; only framerate and resolution are different and this not affect the colour gamma (the real film-like aspect of this clip is due to scene file and the GG transparency).

This was filmed with a 100BE.

  • Nice lawn mower
