Maybe someone has already said this, but I haven't seen all comments. The thing is, I certainly don't blame you for misunderstand what Huckabee is saying here, since he's using Christian lingo you aren't familiar with. Why he's using it, is because he's at a crazy christian university where ppl are familiar with that. He means that God is simply making this happen in his campaign. He doesn't claim that God is doing this to make him president, only that his campaign isn't good enough on its own.

It's sad that there are people who mistake beliefs for idiocy. Thank goodness Huckabee believes in being a president for everybody, without dismissing any of them for their beliefs.

So if your president believed that magic fairies guided his decisions, that would be an "okay" belief for you? Would you really want someone like that running the country? Besides, Huckabee is a president for everybody while running for election, but he tipped his hand with comments like bringing the constitution in line with the "living" god. And yes, anyone who openly claims a mythical man is aiding him (didn't Huckabee lose anyway?) is in my opinion, an idiot.

No matter what belief system someone has, it has nothing to do with how smart that person is. Genius can come from anywhere. Magic fairies are outside accepted belief systems, so I'm sure a candidate with those beliefs would never succeed. Huckabee cannot change the Constitution, anyway, so it's a moot point.

I'm a magic fairy, but don't tell anybody.
