"concept cars" are like "star treck": techno-phantasies of a boy in puberty, wich will never see the light of day, because they´re impossible to realize - and therefore just the wet dream of some engineers being childish.

True innovation, with really cool looking vehicles and revolutionary technologies, will only happen in a truly free market. That would allow LOTS of competition and LOTS of clever little companies to give us LOTS of options. Instead we have a handful of overbloated companies who are fatally tied to political interests, and that destroy whole industries as they create one steaming pile of mediocrity after another.
