Boycott new houses in Orihuela Costa

Orihuela Costa is the worst muicipality in Spain. Unscrupulous politicians and constructors are destroying the environment and making life a misery for so many property owners. There is no protected green space, inadequate drainage, sewage spills, badly maintained roads and too many construction sites. Many developments have been sanctioned by the town hall without an environmental impact or water sustainabilty assessment. The new-build must stop. People must be told not to buy new houses here.

My children are in a Spanish school and are encouraged by the caring teachers more than they were in shitty England. OK there are problems with Spain and to be honest the Spanish have been dragged into the 21st century but give them a chance and you will find them to be very caring. Yes there is corruption in Spain and but the only difference is that you cant see the robbing twats in the UK as they are behind the door of no 10 Downing Street filling there pocket

Good work Puffin -the question is when will Spain stop shooting itself in the foot. Not in the foreseeable I don't think. There is no end in sight to the 3rd world style corruption that dominates and destroys this country. It will be interesting to see the fallout of the new election. It is said that many developers are already bust are being held adrift by the corrupt government.

I bought a jar of marmite in a super market and they charged me for 3.I bought 1 apple and they charged me for a kilo.and it hapened everytime i went into a shop.in the end i went in with a big granny calculator and stood looking at it while they tilled up.That was a good trick. @vespaloco im coming back to live their for good next month ,We came back to shit hole uk for our daughters eduction .Its over now so we are coming back .we pay 800 quid a month for a n ex council house in rent only to have our vehicle stolen and torched within 4 weeks of being back.we dont go out after 6pm as its to dangerous,and going out for a meal at a chinky resuarant is like er, you need a mortgage to do it. I cant wait to get back as im going into solar heating and bio fuels

This video is self defeating. If youre trying to encourage people to buy resale rather than 'new build' this isnt going to help the cause. Its more likely to put people off buying property in the area all together, resulting in the area becoming a ghost town leaving owners with devalued properties that are extremely difficult to sell. Yet again Orihuela Costa is being slandered by people who should know better.Sure the place isnt perfect but good god i would rather have the family over here in spain than back in England.
