Finale 2011 MIDI Lock!

Entry music with MIDI keyboard (Speedy/Simple) I got very often MIDI lock!
Notes "stuck" and I have to constantly klick ouside the staff to go on.

Have you report that to Finale support? If not please do so. All of us that got the MIDI Lock problem MUST GET IT FIXED!

Try Finale 2011 and it's impossible to fix!

I have tried many different MIDI solutions on 2 different computers (Win 7) for at least six months, without success.

I have the same problem as you and I don't know how to fix it. Do your keys get literally stuck or is just that the sound sustains? my problem that the sound sustains.

@FinaleOfficial I hate to say this but it isn't just a problem with M-Audio interfaces. I switched to a Yamaha interface and have the same problem.

@Pieridy Not just M-Audio. I have this too with my E-mu 1616m, had a emu 1820 before that. It seems worse with Finale 2010 (my latest version) than it did with previous versions.

@FinaleOfficial Scott - the problem persists in Finale 2012. I'm using an M-Audio midi interface to hook up my Casio keyboard to my desktop 'puter running Windows 7, and the stuck notes are a huge problem and very disruptive to my work flow.

Yes. It's a bag. They told me about it. Also they wrote: may be will fixed in next version. But at MakeMusic Forum there is solution with Garritan area player, and it's work.

I'm having the same problem. Something to do with M-Audio hardware, although the problem is with Finale as the hardware works with every other program that involves MIDI. Finale claims it's working on the problem, but that was months ago. I'm pretty much ready to dump Finale for good at this point for Sibelius, even though I've been using Finale since about 1998. I paid $160 to upgrade to an utterly broken version of Finale (2011). NOT HAPPY.

i have finale 2007, and ive only had this issue once. its simple to fix. Just save your piece, x out of finale, and start it up again. No biggy
