Lancaster PA474 and B17 Sally B at the Victory Show @ Cosby

PA474 "City of Lincoln/Phantom of the Ruhr" is the only flying Avro Lancaster Bomber in Europe and one of two flying in the world (the other with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Mount Hope, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada).
Operated by the Battle of Britain Memorial flight based out of RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire.


B-17 Flying Fortress G-BEDF, Sally B, is the last remaining airworthy B-17 in the UK.
She is permanently based at the Imperial War Museum Duxford however she is operated by Elly Sallingboe of the B-17 Preservation ltd with the help of a dedicated team of volunteers and not by the museum. Sally B relies on donations and the backing and joing of the the Sally B Supporters Club.
