  • It is a 6x6. Originally designed for military vehicle recovery.

  • I was NOT referring to that specific truck, but Scammel DID make trucks in the 70's and 89's, this one is a bit older than that, but I was giving the question some merit, but thanks for the information.

  • Scammel made trucks in England in the 1970's and 1980's.

  • Could this be one of the refurbished ones fitted with the Rolls-Royce diesel? A Leyland 0.600 could not move that thing around empty, let alone loaded with something to pull or move.

  • IS it powerd only by the rear axles or is it 6x6 ? And where did it originate from and what was it's use?
