Awwww. sorry to hear she didn't make it. She was lucky you are one of the kind people who would stop to rescue her. Otherwise she would have suffered for a much longer time before she died.

@chevykat5150 :) Thanks. But not all stories have a happy ending. Unfortunately they had to put the poor thing down later that day. Apparently it had a broken back & wing, which made me feel bad for not as gentle as I could have been with it :(
