A short video showing the Lew Racing Pro VT-1 rear wheel stiffness.
The wheel is very stiff as long as the spokes do not enter in compression and bend. After this point, the wheel loses all its stiffness.
It means the wheels are performant for riders up to 70/75kg.

  • wtf

  • that's shit.

  • Absolute shitty wheels, at least for the heavy riders.

  • @ILYBNG You mean that they are still in business. I t can be read differently.

    Danke you Sean anyway.

  • @davidoffon They work together with Reynolds

  • Were these the $15000 wheels of a couple of years ago, and did they bust the company

  • lol how can someone say this is stiff?!?!?!

  • Yeah, and I guess you believe that this kind of wheels can be safe? LOL. I do understand weight weenieism (I also try to shave weight of my bike) but for me buying ultralight components is silly.

  • How do mavic produce carbon spokes on the ccu with far greater tension than lew or lightweight can? surely carbon spokes need to be tensioned in a similar fashion to steel ones?
