This was made with Adobe After Effects using an excellent online tutorial.

Unfortunately, the site that used to provide the video tutorial (www.aurelia.net) is no longer there. I'm sorry, but I do not know anywhere where this tutorial might be shown at this point.

  • needs scan lines

  • It has scan lines. They aren't showing up so hot on YouTube resolution because they're 1 pixel high, but they're there.

  • Although the base of the flash light lid (i dont know what it is im judt guessing) is at a diffrent angle then the table good job.

  • It's a small lamp from IKEA with the cord removed. Not sure why it looks like it's at a different angle than the table to you... it's actually sitting on the table.

  • wow you got skillz!!!!!!! I'm watching your tutorial. keep it up!!! :) 5/5

  • Thanks! To be clear, though, it's not my tutorial. It was an excellent turorial that I found online and followed to make the above video.

  • I NEED TO KNOW WHO DO U DID THAT.

I need that for my movie :P

  • Help Me Obi-wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.

  • @pearshapedjedi I can see scan lines :D

  • Order 66

  • @AftermathGamingClan I could have made in in cinema 4d in 1999 so 3 years ago is not an issue.

  • The scanlines are not correct. A 3d projection would scan in 3d, it now scans in 3d the lines are parallel to the dimensions of the viewport of the movie. It should be in 3d too. Why do you make this with adobe aftereffects? A 3d design program would be smarter. You can also put the background as a texture, then you only have to make a simple 3d model with transparant texture on it wicht has the lines (like a alpha layer) on top of the other textures.

    But it does look good.

  • @pearshapedjedi I see'em easy.

  • that is so cool :)

  • please fix the link!
