Great tutorial. Cheers dude

@x1337iQ i´d say logic.
it's much easier to use in my opinion

@Konnekta Also consider Ableton Live, you can get a full demo from the Ableton site. Although Logic can do broadly the same things I found Ableton a lot quicker when changing pitch, looping snippets of audio, and warping tracks etc. You can also re-wire all this stuff together. If you watch the Alex Metric future music tutorial on youtube you can see how he uses Ableton to mash up the audio and Logic to build the rest of the track

@x1337iQ Both are very capable. If you were to go with Reason I would advise Reason 6 as it has the new audio integration and timestretch capabilities. Reason is designed to be a lot more self contained, I don't think you can use 3rd party plugs but the in-built effects are good. Logic is more open and as you progress you can buy all sorts of third party synths and effects. If you have a really good local music store get them to demo both and see which one fits your workflow best

@bberry84 When he moves the transients around, 1/16th markers appear on the top of the audio clip. When he isn't moving them those markers disappear.

if you wanna do remixes of songs, what is the best: Reason 5 or Logic 9 ? :)
-
@bberry84 the beat above the track

It would be nice if this showed what you are lining your transient markers up with. What is your reference for time?
