okay . seriously i work at the body shop, and yes the company was sold to loreal BUT we do not test on animals. When anita sold it to loreal, she made a contract to make sure loreal stays to our core concepts. (100% vegetarian, 100% AGAINST animal testing, support community trade etc.)
Just had to make that clear :)

i actually work at two seperate body shops. you should only be using the tree tea oil skin care line if you have severe acne or intense, oily skin. if you used this product and broke out or had a bad reaction to it, then you should be using a more gentle regime. probably the aloe line which is made specifically for sensitive skin or people with skin allergies. though my favorite line at the body shop is the vitamin e :)

God help you when you peel it off-I just used it today and it left my face more red than anything I've ever used before-and I've used a ton of masks. I would even go so far as to say it bruised my skin a little bit! WARNING: do NOT put this all over your face! Nose only as I think it would be a lot less painful (and probably much more effective) to just use it there versus on cheecks, chin, etc.
I wouldn't buy this again.
Thanks for the comment!
