I love this scene, but it's interesting to think about that they just asked him to dance around then added the lasers after the fact.

there is a zone between the statues and the wall where a person can walk freely without lasers.

What I don't understand about this scene is that th way a laser system works is that it knows if anything comes into contact with the beam. Therefore, the artifacts precise location and size are programmed into the system. Now, the museums floor plan cannot stay that way forever, so there must be a way to add new objects to the laser field system.
So why didn't any of them just take advantage of that?
Great scene though. I downloaded the song on iTunes.
Annoying French guy at the end though...
