Meerkats have a female dominated society. This just means that the girls rule the roost. Unlike mole rats, dominate meerkat females can often change hands and although prohibited, other females can and sometimes do give birth. Thanks for watching.

They can bite of course, but it is surprisingly rare for them to do so. They are such busy little animals they have no time to bite! Thanks for watching.
