We especially express our deepest gratitude to Mrs. Leila Getz and Mr. Paul Gravett. We also extremely grateful to Mrs. Susan Wong Lim, Mr. Robert Lim, Grandma May and Aunty Mo, for their enormous hospitality that made us feel like home during the entire period in Vancouver.

  • That's very impressive program! What's that variation at the end of Liszt's 2nd rhapsody?

  • @drgn781 That is the cadenza composed by Rachmaninoff.

  • A coruscating and riveting performance of the Hungarian Rhapsody!

  • America is that wonderful land where opportunities are in abundance for anyone to succeed and achieve the "American Dream" if the will and drive exist in that person. In other words, carpe diem! And George here is the lucky recipient of the various institutions there in place for an individual to flourish if he or she desires to. A tribute to George's piano teachers/pedagogues and the music education there!

  • And a question: What is the hardest piece that you ever played, George?

  • Excelent interpretation on the cadenza by Rachmaninoff. By the way, in previous performances you played a different cadenza. Who wrote it? I heard other pianists playing it.

  • Do you know my friends, George Li in Recital deploy an absolutely staggering amount of piano technique and his natural sensitivity to music despite a few minor incidents. Obviously George at 16 became the best and we offer a directory through its proof of the quantities beautiful music. He will join of course our great performers of this century as Ami Kobayashi and others of our young talents. Jacques de Vendée

  • Bravo, George!!
