Featuring the St Croix Avid 6' available from http://www.franglaisfishing.com Some cracking fish all from the River Thames, a prime example of why you should take your kids fishing. Thanks for watching. Produced with CyberLink PowerDirector

  • at 3.10 .. is an Salmo Hornet, Hot Perch, right ? Have you tried to fish for chub in pounds/lakes ?

  • @dori10 Predominately a river fish it's tough to find places down here where you can find chub in lakes. We do know a couple of places however and have caught chub there. Neigh Bridge lake in the Cotswold Water Park holds them but they are notoriously difficult to catch. A small Lotto Bete spinner is more succesful on an ultralight set up.

  • Cool Video! I've had no luck so far with my spinner/lures do you fish across the bottom, top, or all depths of the river?

  • @roulettered56 It's all about searching and watercraft. In this cold weather most fish will be hugging the bottom in the deepest areas so start your search there. Locate the bait fish and the predators won't be far away. Let us know when you get your fish.

  • Spro passion set-up? nice fish :)

  • @fixyourfacenow I think that was what Steve was using, well spotted. Harry has a St Croix Premier medium with a Quantum xtralite and Paul used a St Croix Avid light with a Quantum Incyte.

  • @FishAllureUK Thank you for answering. Here.. chub can be found almost everywhere but.. like you saied.. it's difficult to catch the big ones:). For chub most of us use lures between 1.5 and 3 cm, with slight modifications.. Anyway.. here big fish is pretty rare ..

Have a nice day and tight lines!

  • great vid, some nice fish caught. but sorry to say the music ruined it!

  • great vid

  • @fishwithandy Thanks Andy, the first time I ever tried Light/Ultralight lure fishing I wondered what all the fuss was about. Then I hooked a fish and it felt like that feeling you used to get on christmas morning as a kid.
