Initially, yes. The 14th brought up due process regarding same and I may have spoken out of context. I meant that eminent domain takings were in violation of the 14th Amendment, not caused by it, specifically.

Legality has to do with authority.

Law has to do with morality.

ex: Federal Reserve Notes are "legal" tender, but they are truly unlawful.
