Taylor does have a new album out...I would really like to see him soar and get the true recognition he deserves, because if you win Idol that means you are special but yet his albums seem so low key......I would love to see him do a country cross over or work with some really big names to get him out there in the spotlight where he needs to be

@Wadec He just put out a new CD a couple years ago, and it's good. It's the soulful stuff he likes to sing, not the pop stuff.

@Wadec He's had a good career touring, doing small live shows, I hear. You can find some clips on YouTube, like his "My Sweet Lord" cover. I bought his first CD and was shocked to see his producers totally changed his whole vibe. No harmonica, no smile. His persona was lost! Terrible decision by his handlers! They shot him frowning with a guitar. Unbelievably bad decisions! His producers need to get blamed totally. Terrible marketers. They would change the Coke recipe. Same thinking!

He disappeared into nothingness. I've not heard him promote one bit of music since leaving the show. It's such a shame really. People would kill for that opportunity and it seems like he's just thrown it away.

Actually, he's done a lot of self-promoting since leaving the show and has received a lot of press over his role in the Broadway Musical "Grease." I guess you just haven't been paying attention.
