Booting my vintage 486

It's an old computer that I found in the streets, It works just fine! Its a 50 mhz 80486 with 4 mb of ram an 256 mb of hdd

thats one helluva computer!!! I had 386 back when I was a kid... Well, my dad had. I honestly don't know where it ended, but I miss it sometimes :D

most 486dx2 (50Mhz = 25mhz x 2) will happilly run at 33Mhz x2 (66Mhz) - higgly them jumpers and overclock that beast ;-)

Upgrade it to 8mb RAM and you'll have an awesome DOS games machine that will be able to play anything until about 1995. I used to play Doom etc on a 486 66mhz w/ 8mb

@n01c3m I wish I could get my first computer back. It was a 486-25 MHz with 2 MB of RAM, and 120 MB hard disk.
