Kuan Yin bird calls

Here's a new video of Kuan Yin the goddess of mercy. Some people think of this Chinese deity as having similarities with Christ or the Virgin Mary. I'm sure I don't have all the answers so we'll leave it up to you viewers to tell us your opinions. This video has an old folk song called The Cuckoo as accompaniment. Its a lovely old song. I think a better explanation is that the "Virgin Mary" has similarities with Quan Eim, as Quan Eim precedes them whether it be in the form of Avalokiteshvara or otherwise.
