  • I just purchased a BRKT Fox River with black micarta scales. I am very happy with this knife but am afraid of its durability for bushcraft tasks. Any thoughts?

  • @MrKillbot5 I don't do bushcraft. Only in my hunting experience A2 is the second to 3V in durability. Thanks.

  • What brand and model was the second knife in this video?

  • @shilohreb It was the Benchmade Bone Collector large folder. Thanks.

  • I love your videos, thank you for sharing. When you say something is no good, you give the reasons, often just someone's opinion. Thank you.

  • @andrisig33 Some like doe to hunt because their meat has less game small and soft. I am a trophy maker as a hobby and keep some memorial ones in my house and give others to my friends. They are happy with it in their house. And I rather prefer the game smell to eat. So I hunt only stag. I hunt 60 stag a season but regular deer hunters hunt only in weekends and they seem to get 10 deer mixed with stag and doe in a season. So the deer are increasing year by year. Thanks.

  • @ainomoadakine I live and hunt in Japan. I use a bolt action shotgun to kill them. Thanks.

  • how did you kill it? what country is that?

  • @virtuovice Thank you for your honest words and I'm glad I have given you something to think about. You do mention that you only hunt a very small percentage of the total of 700 thousand deer. How much of that total are male that you hunt for? Another question I have is. You are of course not the only one who hunts and if others like you hunt mainly the male and the biggest deer, then still the impact on the total gene pool of the deer as a whole.

  • @andrisig33 I am a trophy hunter and I have never thought as you say. What you say sounds correct, but I know the real biggest stag is always hiding. I once met nearly twice as thick antlers as what I own, but I missed it. Since then I have been wanting to meet the real biggest stag again. This is what I think and why I hunt as often and as deeply as possible sacrificing many personal issues. Anyway there are 700 thousand deer and I hunt just 70 deer a season. Thanks.
