Never a valid reason for any war huh? you are so damn ignorant. How about liberating the jews in the concentration camps in WW2. Do you think we could have talked Hitler down? The only thing that stopped that man was brave men and women willing to fight. How dare you mitigate the great sacrifice they gave! How dare you call yourself American.

mfyyre your comment astounds me in every way! No reason for going to Iraq?! You dont think that liberating the people of Iraq from a blood thirsty dictator like Saddam is worth going there for?! The man would shoot innocent civilians from his back porch as a hobby!!! He gave his sons torcher chambers for their birthdays!!! You are ignorant of the good we have done there and as a result, you are a victim of our liberal media like the rest.

AlJazeera in my opinion is telling Iraq's what they want to hear, and American news agencies are telling Americans what they want to hear.
Ultimately, that's the trouble with the media. Take everything with a grain of salt. As an American I am outraged at the incompetence of our military and our inability to protect and defend Iraqi infrastructure and civilians. But the vast majority of Americans have nothing but good intentions, dialogue is the key. Americans and Iraq's should talk more.

The Truth is the 1st casualty of war. Currently the Iraq war has killed the most journalists. Journalist are targets in this war. So as a consenquence this war gets limited coverage and truth.

NOTHING can be done about it, Big Mel. The U.S. cannot stay in Iraq but it can never leave. And it's way beyond media coverage now.
Also, Big Mel summed it up------"It's a mess."

Others call him Colon "The Bowel" Powell.
Iraqi's have every right to fight back to defend themselves and their country.

There are some people in the US, such as myself who have been against this war from the start.
People in this country need to learn how to think independently, and not be true believers of the media - there was never a valid reason for going to war in Iraq, there will never be a valid reason for ANY war.
