Persians lost because after 1600 years of supremacy in the Middle-East it was bound to lose to some faction. Persia was fighting the East-Roman Empire at the time that the arabs suddenly crawled out of their desert shithole and pretended to be civilized. Just like how every civilization was defeated before, so was Persia defeated as well, there's no shame in that. But where are your mighty arab armies now? @jacker As for the IQ: First of all, this is an estimation based on Iran's neighbouring countries such as Iraq, Turkey, etc. (and since most are arab countries joke's on you lol). Iran has never given its official estimation of the nation's average IQ due to the international tensions. Second, since the revolution many intellectuals left Iran (talking about more than 4 million people here) so this number is entertaining at best. Delusional? No, it's called rational, something you'll never be.

Sure Iran's a theocracy but since most of the people are against the government, more than half of the population is also well aware of the censorship which means that most of them manage to resist the brainwashing to the point that the Iranian regime has lost almost all of its grip on Iran's social life.

There are many sources about how Persians (not Iranians) look, dating from 3000 years ago until now and they basically all refer to the same anatomical differences between Persians and semites. The most important differences are the characteristic eye-shapes, achaemenid nose (dropping tip of the nose unlike the arab hawk nose which bends at the bridge), generally paler than arabs and wide jaws. I believe it was Arrian who first described the Achaemenid Persians and his descriptions still count.

Persians have some haplogroups in their DNA that are also found in semitic DNA, but even if that worthless, shitty pile of gray matter of yours was capable of understanding the complexity of human DNA and genetics, you'd still fail at interpreting its implications.
