I am speechless by the vocal Perfection, the sensitive, subtle vocal colors, the fantastic phrasing -so unique and not copying of Maria Callas in anyway- and the natural physical beauty of these two singers.
This is outstanding. Bravi Renee and Dmitri

Saw Dmitri Hvorostovsky as Eugene Onegin & Renee Fleming as Tatyana Larina in Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin" at the Met on TV in 2009. Extraordinary performances! The waltz from this opera is the world's greatest waltz.
stupid question, but what duet is this?
(Italian title?)

It's the entire scene V of Act II. The first part begins with
GERMONT Madamigella Vale'ry?
VIOLETTA Son io.
and features "Pura siccome un angelo".
This part begins with "Dite alla giovine" and features "Or, imponente... Morro!". I'll add the text to the description, but I don't have a translation.
