Truck hit train bridge, ripping roof off Truck , Moncton

Codiac RCMP & Moncton Fire Dept respond to a call that a 5 ton truck hit the CN Train Bridge on Main street shortly before 3pm. One lane was blocked from metal laying in east bound lane. No truck in sight , but the driver did come back to talk to RCMP , it ripped the roof off the box of the Truck, driver was from out of town. Police & Firefighters put the metal on the sidewalk until a city employee showed up to pick up the debris. Video aired on CTV with Bruce Frisko & Breakfast Television on A.

I fin it interesting that a firetruck full of guys had to be called to pull the metal out of the road. Really? Sorry we were late putting out your fire, we had to drag some sheet metal out of the road. What about the cops? Could they not have done it?

@brandi101161 something you should know.. most old time truck drivers are being ran out of the industry by government regulations.. putting new inexperienced drivers in place. I'd say about 60% of the trucks' drivers out there don't have more than 4 years of driving experience. also judging by the size of the metal, it was likely a straight box truck. the majority of them drive those things like a car; paying little or no attention to said signs

Where did the truck go? I don't see it in the video and I am sure the driver new he hit the bridge.

I hate that train bridge its so narrow and small, they need to redo that bridge again!! Its to the Via station from Main and CN

okay SERIOUSLY! if you can't read the sign that says the clearance, I don't want you on the road! This happens way too often!
