The Humblefisherman - Fly Fishing the Black Shale HD

After camp is set up the fly fishing begins. The Humblefisherman is joined by Trouttrek, Boomer, Cory, and his new fishing dog Maple. This Heli Trip was the highlight of the years adventures and has won it's place as the first in a full season of episodes. This is only 1 of 3 day's we spent on the water. The other two are still to come. Fly fishing for trophy westslope cutthroat trout in central Alberta, Canada.

@yalebulldog05 Thanks yalebulldog, I sent a package to the former OLN, which is now versus (in the usa), a couple of times in the past. They showed no interest. We might hit them up again in the future, who knows ;)

Got a question for you Jay. When does poor Cory get to fish? He's always behind that camera in all these beautiful places. Hope he gets to tie into some big ones every now and again. Any thought of ever getting your own cable show?

@mountingoat Cory the camera mans version of "fishing" is capturing the eat / take , he loves to film and is the best one of us to do the job. I do the edits catch some fish, which is what i love to do. The end product is what you see here. Just a bunch of dudes with a true passion for the creation of fly fishing films!

Thanks for putting these videos up for us. You wouldn't believe how many times it has gotten me through the winter or this horrible weather we've been having in Washington State. This summer has been a total wash. Thanks for the adventures. I think you should auction off spots that people could bid on eBay for the chance to go fishing with you. You could even use it as a way to give to charity or just to have fun money.
