Hah. Most Europeans are MUCH more knowledgeable about America, the United States Government, and U.S. policy than AMERICANS are.

And they don't buy into the ridiculous American propaganda Americans stuff themselves with about our pure hearts and generosity, how America is just a poor victim of other people's jealousy.

I'd take a European's perspective on the USA.

Your main point is she didn't know what the Bush Doctrine is/was? First...there is no Bush Doctrine published and called as such from the Bush administration. It was something coined by the media and not refered to as such by the Bush adminstration. Chales Gibbson should have asked her what she thought of Bush's National Security policy.
